It protects from galvanic action between metals, from carbon fusion, from alkaline solutions, chemicals, acid vapours, salted water, etc., from galling steel parts contacted to hard metals. Applications: threaded parts, gaskets, assembling of valve and pumps, chains, assembly to press.
