O Bow Motor 2 demonstra um consumo mais baixos de amperagem comparado com outros motores normalmente usados como o Warn XP 6HP. O Bow Motor 2 é muito resistente e é preferido para "over-volting" (isto é quando 24V são passados a motores de 12V).

This legendary motor is available in either 12V or 24V producing 6.8HP at 5,000rpm and 25mm longer than the Bow Motor 1.

The Bow motor 2 as also features a low amperage draw when compared to other commonly used motors such as the Warn XP 6HP unit. The Bowmotor 2 is a very resilient motor and is favoured for “over-volting” (this is when 24v is passed through 12v motors). This motor does not like to be stalled and will be damaged if this happens. The motor has an ‘O’ ring seal on the end cap to waterproof it and we recommend sealing the F1, F2 and A terminals with silicon sealant upon fitment. These motors feature heavy duty copper armature windings, which are copper welded to the commutator, with highly efficient roller bearings at each end. Four enormous long lasting brushes enable the motor to run cooler.

If fitting to the older Warn 8274 with a key way type armature shaft, then you will also need to replace the pinion gear with the later type Splined Pinion Gear.
